Robert Shrimplin is retired and is co-founder of 626 Financial, a Registered Investment Advisor.
Robert had over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, starting his career at E.F. Hutton, successfully building a book of business focusing primarily on insurance needs. In 1990, he joined Fahnestock & Co to develop the Insurance and Annuity Department for the firm. At the time, Fahnestock was a growing company with offices throughout the east coast. Bob served as Director of this department for 13 years, while maintaining and building a clientele on the retail side of the business.
Bob holds degrees from the College of Financial Planning and Western Michigan University.
Bob resides in Kalamazoo with his wife Judith. They enjoy a variety of activities including travel and golf and spending time with family, including their four busy grandchildren.
