Robert Shrimplin

Robert Shrimplin is retired and is co-founder of 626 Financial, a Registered Investment Advisor. 

Robert had over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, starting his career at E.F. Hutton, successfully building a book of business focusing primarily on insurance needs. In 1990, he joined Fahnestock & Co to develop the Insurance and Annuity Department for the firm.  At the time, Fahnestock was a growing company with offices throughout the east coast. Bob served as Director of this department for 13 years, while maintaining and building a clientele on the retail side of the business.

Bob holds degrees from the College of Financial Planning and Western Michigan University.
Bob resides in Kalamazoo with his wife. They enjoy a variety of activities including travel and golf and spending time with family, including their grandchildren.
